Our Tradition of Commitment

In more than 60 years of service to California, there has been one overriding focus for this company: a commitment to family and family-values. Our dad, Leonard DeFendis, taught us to treat customers and employees like family. It was the way he and his partner, Anthony DiBuduo, ran “D&D” for decades. We grew up watching how clients and employees responded to that core value, how it was real and everlasting. It helped grow this company from its small beginnings in 1960 to one of California’s largest independent insurance agencies and why many of our staff members have 30 plus years of service with us.

As the second generation, we’ve been at the helm for the past several years. We want you to know that the promise: to build strong relationships, listen, focus, and respond to your needs is stronger than ever. We are proud of our tradition of commitment, that companies and organizations all over California have come to rely upon, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
