SUMMARY:California Heat Illness Prevention Training
DESCRIPTION:In California\, employers must take steps to protect workers from heat illness both outdoors and indoors. For outdoor workers\, this includes providing water\, rest\, shade and training\, as well as ensuring a written prevention plan is available at all outdoor worksites. Cal/OSHA’s Heat Illness Prevention regulation applies to all outdoor places of employment such as those in the agriculture\, construction\, and landscaping industries. \nRecently\, California has expanded its heat illness prevention regulations to also cover indoor workers who are exposed to high temperatures. Employers are now required to protect indoor workers from heat-related illnesses in similar ways to outdoor workers. This includes providing water\, rest\, and cool-down areas\, and implementing training for all employees working in hot indoor environments. \nD&D’s training is designed to fulfill Cal/OSHA’s training requirements for both outdoor and outdoor heat illness prevention\, covering supervisors and non-supervisory employees. This ensures comprehensive compliance with the regulation across all types of work environments. \n  \n*Early arrival is suggested; late arrival may result in being turned away. All information in the training is vital and required for certification. \n*All classes are subject to change and/or cancellation dependent on registration. \n*Please add at least one ticket before registering for the class.
